The watch gained worldwide fame when Sean Connery wore the watch as James Bond in the film Goldfinger. The watch is therefore called "James Bond" by collectors. The watch was only produced for four years between 1955 and 1959. This watch is the first edition of the reference 6538 from '56. In addition to the papers and box, the set also includes a new James Bond nylon strap.
