The reference 5508 was introduced in 1958. This Submariner is one of the earliest 5508s ever made. It is also the last version without crown guards before the ref. 5512 and later the 5513 were introduced. This watch symbolizes the end of the early Submariner era. The watch is in an awesome condition. The design is still up to date and the watch is definitely a real collector's item.
